BIOGRAPHY
From the dawn of time (since nothing really happened before 1980), trousers demanded to be flapped, buttocks demanded to be jiggled in both horizontal and vertical directions and beer required to be gulped in tie with vibrating atmospheric pulsations. But a secret cabal of catatonically boring pub bands, tired laptop jockeys, and hackneyed Djs, atrophied the senses of the yearning people.
That was until 2006. Back Back Forward Punch – a live electronic act with lots of 'special moves', spawned from the dark streets of Newcastle. Their unique blend of pop sentiments, cinematic moments and driving rhythms won hearts and minds from the villagers, and so were awarded the 2007 ABC Newcastle Music Award for Best Electronic Act.
Now Melbourne is the stage. The trio, armed with fresh grooves, and catchy hooks, do battle with the humdrum of the average Friday night. See the saga unfold at a venue near you!
