Sabrina continues to inspire and impress with powerful vocals and easily relatable lyrics. Playing support for headline acts around the country, with her most recent performance as support for Ash Grunwald at the Playhouse Darwin 2009.
Already lead vocalist Sabrina Orwin- Sandapa has found fans internationally, earning a nomination for best female vocal at the Los Angeles Music Awards (2007), as well as third place in the Folk/Acoustic sector of the Australian Songwriting Contest (2007) and winner of the 2007 Coke a Cola live and local unsigned competition.
As a songwriter and performer, Sabrina shares her passion for music, with lyrics that take you through her journey of life’s obstacles and her search to embrace endless freedom, peace and happiness. Growing up listening to The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Bob Marley, Sabrina has grown to appreciate music and its various styles with her songs being a blended mix of folk, blues, soul and a pinch of rock.
Inspired by many musicians and vocalists, Sabrina has developed a unique style with powerful emotional vocals. Influences including Bob Dylan, Ayo and Jeff Buckley have inspired her to become the performer that she is today.
To date Sabrina has performed at various venues around Australia, her most recent performance have been at the Darwin Festival and the Entertainment Centre in Darwin City.
