Formed in mid-2009, the band has been busy writing music that is explosive and exciting, the idea: to create a live show that’s electric with impossibly high energy.
The band’s members: Dion (vocals/ guitar), Chrissy (backing vocals/ bass) and Amy (drums), have an extensive live performance history. Each member has worked on various projects prior to The Shade Collective.
2010 marks the release of The Shade Collective’s debut LP: Dark Times, available NOW!
The ‘Rock Rebuild- Tabitha for Cambodia’ charity event on January 16th 2010 was The Shade Collective’s debut live performance. It was explosive and well received, a taste of things to come.
The Shade Collective's DEBUT ALBUM LAUNCH at Melbourne's iconic Cherry Bar was a great success and cemented the band as a strong live entity.
