BIOGRAPHY
Some would say, the days of raw, confrontational music that looks at the real aspects of life are gone. They have obviously never heard of FANGS!.
FANGS is an Australian rock band formed in early 2009. Singer and guitarist Tim Smyth, Andrew Mackie (bass) and Leigh Acott (guitar) met while still at school over five years ago, connecting instantly over their love of music. While playing together and mastering their craft, the boys were introduced to drummer Glenn Evans and were instantly drawn to this relentless impulse to inflict pain on his drums. Soon after, FANGS was born. The band has quickly established a loyal following in Melbourne, etching their unique style of gritty, honest, guitar driven rock and roll on the face the local scene.
With a blend of raw charisma and a refreshing dose of unpretentious rock the band has been applauded for their "suave showmanship and ability to knock you off your sensibilities and into the mosh pit in no time".
FANGS keenly awaited debut album will be recorded in February, so keep your eyes peeled and your ears to the ground for release dates and tour information!!
"Demanding instant crowd respect with their true rock qualities... the entire band produced a highly animated and impassioned performance. With an inviting showmanship, smooth synchronisation and songs with the potential to become rock anthems, FANGS! won over the entire room"

"A meritorious punk-thrash outfit... With raucous, full-tilt vocals and lead guitar brilliance; even hinting at the calibre and colour of Hendrix... Suffice to say, they play with conviction, commitment & vitality, and are robust players, attuned to the anarchic element that must inform and suffuse their chosen genre."
