With numerous successes on both radio and CMC to their name, including recent hits Real Smooth Cowboy, I Wanna Go Home and the #1 smash hit City Lights, Jetty Road have gone from strength to strength. Touring alongside 9 time Golden Guitar winning legend James Blundell for two years, Jetty Road were invited to perform main stage at Canada’s Dauphin’s Countryfest, the country’s longest running country music festival,inJune of 2008. They were the only Australian artists to ever appear at the festival, performing alongside American country superstar Alan Jackson, Lonestar, and 2008 Grammy Award winners Emerson Drive to rave reviews.
A ground breaking year for the group, 2008 saw Jetty Road achieve a Golden Guitar Award finalist nomination, claim Best Live Act honours in Tamworth, the TIARA Award forBest Group as well as the coveted Victorian Album of the Year award at the Victorian and National Country Music Awards. Jetty Road had a stunning start to 2009 at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, winning the Australian Country Music People’s Choice Award for Best Group as well as back to back TIARA Award honours.
