BIOGRAPHY
radioVertigo was formed in May 2007.
Rob Moss & Pete Freebairn decided to get together to collaborate and blend their distinct flavours of main stream rock and Indy music to create and "make music we enjoy and can feel proud of playing – music that people will want to listen to, while at the same time make music for the pure joy of making music."
Their two very different styles of writing yet similar approach to music composition translates as an influence to each other, resulting in the music becoming diverse and independent.
Rob (guitars/keyboard) and Pete (vocals/guitars) previously played together in various bands, stemming back to the early 90's.
Realising their new material had legs, and it was in March 2008 that Paul Boyle (drums) came on board to add creative drumming and percussion to the grooves. They started rehearsals & recording at local studios and decided it was time to go ahead with an album.
"Technological innovation continues to drive changes in the way music is produced, heard & distributed." Saying that, radioVertigo's first album "Evolution" was written, recorded, produced & mixed by Pete, Rob & Paul at Pete's home studio referred to as "The Cellar". A collection of 12 songs feature on the album was hatched there, culminating in an album of independence and diversity reflecting their musical truth.
