HEAVEN THE AXE are a tough new female fronted Australian hard rock band first unleashing their heavy edged, high energy melodic set on Melbourne audiences in October 2009 after a year of writing, rehearsing and polishing up their punching, tight, unrelenting show.
Since then, they have attracted shows in capital cities at notorious venues such as The Excelsior, The Lewisham and The Sando in Sydney The Central Club, Ding Dong Lounge in Melbourne and continuing to grow regional areas with packed houses in places such as Wagga Wagga and upcoming Brisbane, Newcastle and Canberra gigs and festival bookings in later 2010.
Born out of love for the melody and respect for the hook, HEAVEN THE AXE are a melting pot of characters of differing tastes ranging from top pop to extreme metal.
