Sleepa is a band fed by a range of influences. From heavy, rocking, to melodic and dark, a style has developed which is uniquely their own blend of rock/metal. All of these songs reflect intense personal experiences, this is one of the bands strengths.
Original members Chris Thorley(Thorls), Denison Phillips(Deno) and Dave Mifsud(Mif) have keenly pursued live gigs in and around Melbourne over the last couple of years, playing at classic venues like The Arthouse, The Noise Bar, The Vic Hotel, and The Espy. Gaining them vital experience on stage and driving them to continue with the band to reach it's current incarnation.
With the good grace of New Skinn Sleepa has secured the services of Chris Miller(Greekman) on the Bass, which for those who know him has obviously added alot of energy to the band! Sleepa is standing up and ready to run, check them out at a live venue near you!
